The High Resolution non-contact 3D Profiler allows the user to scan the profile of the wear track during and after the test to follow depth of the track but also to create 3D imaging of the wear track. The position between the measuring ball holder and the optical pen is calibrated to allow automatic scanning of the wear track after the test.  Vertical Resolution down to a few nanometers and lateral resolution down to 1micron are possible.

Video Zoom Camera

The video zoom microscope offers user ability to select an area to be measured through live camera view. The camera is offset to the ball, pin, block holders with a calibrated distance through the software. Complete with manual zoom capabilities with magnifications up to 2000x.  With this it is possible to inspect the surface prior to testing and to take photographs of the wear track after the test.   

Magnification = 0.7x – 4.5x Diagonal Field of View = 11.42 – 1.77 (mm) N.A. = 0.050 – 0.140
Depth of Field = 0.23 – 0.03 (mm) Working Distance = 36mm
